THE STRENGTH BEHIND THE NAME 

Tony VanderWielen established VanderWielen Custom Homes in 1987 and has since helped hundreds of London and area homeowners realize their dream of building a new home. He has a rich understanding of and first-hand practical experience with the technical aspects of residential construction-from drafting the plans, to framing the walls and shingling the roof-so his approach has always been hands-on, actively overseeing the day-to-day progress of each build, and personally communicating with both his handpicked trades and his customers. 

For ten years prior to launching VanderWielen Custom Homes Tony worked in the London construction industry, serving 5 years as supervisor and foreman for a long-time prominent residential builder based in London. He earned a CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM Diploma in 1977. VanderWielen Custom Homes is a recipient of the TARION Award of Excellence, the only award in Ontario that recognizes builders exclusively for customer service.
